March has been really busy, but my daily drawing continues. I got way behind in adding colour to some of these drawings until yesterday. What a blissful day – me and the watercolours and some good tunes and sunlight!

- Something huge – Last summer I stayed at a b&b that had a great view across a valley of this castle. It looked so small… until I was standing beside it. Huge!!! I wanted to draw this castle (and went wonky on it) just so I could play around with the watercolour mix on the walls.
- Something frozen – There were major icicles on the shrubs outside my front door. Not sure how these plants survive each winter.
- Something in motion – I don’t usually draw birds or animals, but when I thought of something in motion, hummingbirds were the first thing to come to mind. Loose interpretations…
- Something bright – From my deck last summer, posies on my Mexican tile table.
