Almost all my daily sketches from this week were started very late at night, after a long day of drawing for another large project. And most of them are either awful or haven’t had the values/colour treatment yet… But I have kept my commitment to draw from the daily list!
There are only 2 drawings that make the grade this week.
- Something raw – From an Internet photo that I had downloaded weeks ago in an “I must draw this” moment. It took forever to draw because of course, I took the detailed route. Despite being drawn in the middle of the night, I found on this particular night it really calmed me down and I could focus.
- Something French – This jar of Herbes de Provence was conveniently and thankfully sitting on the counter in my kitchen, when I went looking for something French to draw at around 11:30 pm on February 27! Serendipity for the Fatigued! Thank God I didn’t have a picture of Notre Dame or something like that within viewing distance!
Those fruits and vegetables are awesome! That must have taken ages with all the detail, really worth it.
So nice – being a Weight Watchers foodie, I love this stuff.
