Thanks to #inktober 2015, I’m making more of a drawing dent into my photo collection of “door stuff” from vacations past!
Two more door thingies – the first one is a decorative door bar which I think served as the door handle. This was on the main door of the Palazzo Forani in Casperia (Lazio, Italy), the palace that had large bear sculptures guarding the front door. And this door handle with its large felines keeps the theme of intimidation going for all who dare to enter!
The second drawing is of a bronze door knocker I came across in Padova (or Padua) last year.
I’m falling behind on completing these drawings on their given day, but it’s so calming to sit down and make all these little lines. It’s been very meditative, more like #zentober!
