A few months back I posted a lot of my individual drawings I submitted to The Sketchbook Project, but now you can view my Sketchbook in its entirety.
Looking at it IN PERSON would be the best way. The Sketchbook Project Mobile Library will be on the road in August in the US and Canada, so if you’re planning to be in these cities, go check it out – literally. Search under my name “Marion Younan” and the sketch-brarians will get it for you.
August 7 – First Friday Art Murmur, Oakland
August 8 – 9 at The Yard at Mission Rock, San Francisco
August 13 – 15 at Olympic Sculpture Park, Seattle
August 22 – 23 at Chicago Loop Alliance, Chicago
August 28 – 30 at the Distillery District, Toronto (where I’ll be going)
For times and more details, here’s the Event link. This is the last year the library will be touring so try to catch it.
You can also visit my sketchbook online at https://www.sketchbookproject.com/library/16324. Unfortunately, some pages were not scanned facing the right way for the drawings and it scanned a bit dark. Oh well. For better views, you can visit my past blog posts.
If you’d like to fill a sketchbook for the Project, the 2016 registration has begun, and it’s really fun to participate.
UPDATE: I’ve just had feedback on this post that the digital version of the sketchbook on the Sketchbook Project site is really really hard to see and read, so I’ve uploaded my own scans in this slideshow below.
Wow your sketches really are amazing!
Thanks so much! And welcome to Canada – I’m enjoying your discovery of Montreal!
Loved this. Especially the ‘butt’. I’ve not seen Paul Newman’s, but I expect it is as lovely.
Hi, Ann! I too didn’t pay much attention to Mr. Newman’s backside but the statue was gorgeous!
