Experimenting with iPhone Photography

Rock Abstract (1024x768)

Crystal Rocks (15x macro)

I travel light, and on my last trip, I used my iPhone camera as my primary camera. It did well, but there certainly were limitations. And then I was given the Olloclip 4-in-1 Lens Kit ($69.99) as a gift. These lens snap easily onto the phone, and can take fishbowl, wide angle, and macro 10x and 15x magnification shots. On my next trip, I’ll have many more photographic options.

I’ve played with the macro lens recently on a beach and in my garden. Despite some blurriness around the edges, I loved the effects. Now anyone with these lens and their iPhone can explore the macro world – so interesting and artful what happens when you get in really close!
