February Doodles

I’m still learning about tangling and picking up new patterns. Recently though, I’ve started thinking about shapes that intrigue me, and themes for these doodles. I played around with floral patterns in the second doodle below, and then with the theme of the riverbed on the bottom one.

I attended The Artist Project show in Toronto this past weekend, and saw the amazing art of Alea Drain who incorporates doodling into her large artworks. Very cool! She has inspired me to keep moving in novel directions with my own doodling, and perhaps experiment with mixing it with other art forms. Thanks, Alea!

And thanks to all who have posted a Like or have chosen to follow this blog recently – I appreciate your encouragement and your community!
