Firstly, if you are reading this, thank you for sticking with me through my extended blog silence! I appreciate that you are still here!
My blogging silence has been a result of preparing a house for sale, putting it up for sale, looking for a new house in a new city, buying this house, moving into it and getting it into liveable shape! Yes, I do love a project, but this one has been a doozie!
This meant months of very little painting and no international travel, and therefore, not much to write about.
The great news is, that after all this delay and toil, I have a new studio and I’m painting again finally! The better news is that this compact studio space also has gallery walls and shelving, and I am so pleased that I can now host you with personalised visits – to see the displayed or archived art, explore what’s on the easel in progress, and have a good old conversation!

In this space, I have a large selection of originals out on display, along with prints and notebooks. Basically, ALL my art is available here!

So where is this place of artistic wonderment, you ask?
I am now in Stratford Ontario, a small city known for its world-class theatre and restaurants. Located about 2 hours west of Toronto along the pretty Avon River, it’s a popular day trip from the nearby bigger cities (when I lived in Toronto, we came here often). It’s also surrounded by a vibrant agricultural community with food, bike and nature trails (see here). There’s so much to do in this area… in addition to visiting my studio-gallery!
If you aren’t anywhere near my city, province or in Canada for that matter, we can still connect, as I will be back to more regular blogging to share my new art and the inspiration stories for its creation. My original art is always available online too so you can find it here without needing a plane ticket!
Thanks again for sticking with me, and I look forward to getting back into conversation with you all!

Congrats on the move and your new studio! It sounds like quite the journey, but how exciting to have your own gallery space now. Stratford sounds like the perfect spot for creativity, and I’m looking forward to seeing your new art and hearing the stories behind it. Thanks for sharing, and welcome back!
Hi! Thanks for reaching out! Yes I’m looking forward to getting into a more regular schedule of both painting and writing. So stay tuned!
Glad to hear! You’re always welcome to visit my blog as well. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Moving is always a huge chore but it sounds like a good move. I have always wanted to visit Stratford, Ontario. Your studio looks fabulous.
Hi Darlene! Stratford has been a good move. It’s been such a pleasure to explore the city… and walk everywhere. I hope you’ll visit us here one day! We’ve got a few great book stores! 😉
I’ll let you know if I get there. We can have a coffee. 😊
