How I Feel Today

In the days to come, I’ll be posting the art of my friends and my own stuff, with a bit about how it was made and its inspiration.

To start, the piece above was driven by an art journalling assignment to try to put emotion on paper without words. I was having a great day – full of energy, lots of ideas flitting around my skull, enjoying the colours of autumn and a sunset outside my window! I used acrylic ink sprays, acrylic paint on a homemade stamp and some modelling paste with a stencil. This was my first experimentation with the inks and the modelling paste – fun!
